My interview with the 2011 cast of THE NIGGA FILES






Yesterday I had the pleasure of interviewing the cast of the 2011 production of the play THE NIGGA FILES written and directed by Donja Love, co-directed by Heather Thomas. In the studio was Donja, Heather and the actors, which included: Salina Yasmine as Martha, Stan Dixon as Eddy, Jamarr Hall as Jamal, Aaron Thornton as David, and Keith Illidge as Spencer.   1. Just read your piece on Baldwin & Hansberry from last year. Quite enjoyed it! Have a play on Baldwin in which LH appears going up in the fall so can't help surf the web for their names now the work is done. I missing having them in my head!

  2. Thanks Jewelle. We need to keep them, their experiences, their characters in our head because what they fought for still is not being fundamentally addressed like our ballooning private sector and war machine. -RF.
