On Thursday, June 3rd, 2010, I talked with Dr. Weldon McWilliams about the second half of his recent Ph.D dissertation (the fourth through sixth chapters) entitled TO PROCLAIM LIBERTY TO THE CAPTIVES. In this discussion we have an interesting exchange about how the the Pan African Orthodox Christian Church sees Paul (author of the most books of the Bible, in the New Testament) differently from the mainstream American church that tends to overemphasize his teachings on individual salvation to ultimately accomodate the Western individualism that is a cover for further neocolonial exploitation.
